Michelle Mitchell has been interested in accounting and business field since high school. She attended undergraduate school at Western Michigan University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she went on to work at several Fortune 500 companies working in positions from Accountant to Sr. Financial Analyst to Finance Director. In 2004, Michelle began working as an independent contractor for several companies who needed the expertise of a Chief Financial Officer without incurring the cost of a full time CFO. She began helping business owners understand the complex issues of their financial operations in terms that they could understand. Michelle wanted to expand her business knowledge and in 2007 she graduated with a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from Spring Arbor University. Michelle has also received a Master’s degree in Career and Technical Education from Western Michigan University in 2010. Mitchell Consulting was incorporated in 2011, providing accounting and business consulting services to small business owners. Michelle has also utilized her education to facilitate teaching small business owners’ the ins and outs QuickBooks software. Michelle is also a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor with clients in fields of Holistic Health, Education, Nonprofit, Law and Financial Services Industries and Faith-based Organizations.
Michelle lives in Kalamazoo, MI with her husband and 2 children. In her free time, Michelle enjoys watching movies, reading books, traveling and enjoying time with her family. Mitchell Consulting would love to have the opportunity to help you take your business to the next level.
